[Exhibition Description]
Humans have positioned themselves as de facto rulers of the world, all while choosing to be completely removed from the natural world. This has led to devastating consequences as we have sought to reshape the planet for our comfort. Industrial societies have moved away from a harmonious coexistence with nature and can no longer access the ancient, arcane knowledge through which our ancestors sustainably interacted with the earth. Climate Reckoning is an exploration of that lost connectivity with our fragile home, and if we aren’t too late, how we might get the chance to salvage it.
