[Exhibition Description]

An international collaboration of feminist voices from San Diego’s Feminist Image Group, Swedish Krogen Amerika, and Los Angeles’ Shoebox Projects on global contemporary issues of gender.

"Feminism Now" presented a dialogue on feminism through the collaborative efforts of members of the American Feminist Image Group, Krogen Amerika, and Shoebox Projects. This traveling exhibition, running from 2016 through 2018, aimed to address gender equality, sexism, body image, and other pertinent feminist issues affecting women globally. It included artist talks, and offered a diverse range of media, from drawing and painting to photography and performance, showcasing the rich, varied perspectives within the international feminist movement.
